There are so many methods for quitting smoking that the advertisers claim will work.
There’s the patch, the pills, the gums, the smokeless cigarettes, and the list goes on.
But if you’ve tried all of those and are still a smoker you may wonder what’s left, is there anything?
Tapping into Powerful Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to Quit Smoking
There are more options to quit smoking than the list above.
If you’ve tried and failed with other methods maybe it’s time to get to the root of the problem with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT.
CBT started in the 1960’s and is a therapy that enables the client to discover incorrect thoughts and perceptions that may be causing undesirable behaviors, such as smoking.
The process that causes behaviors starts with the stimuli, is interpreted with the thought and results in an emotion which leads to a behavior. When you change the middle step of the thought, the resulting emotion and hence behavior automatically change.
The Easy Quit System utilizes CBT to help smokers quit once and for all.
Peter Howell creator of the system promises to help you stop smoking by ending your desire to smoke. This program doesn’t just address the physical addiction of smoking it goes straight to the reasons you smoke in the first place.

Hi, I just wanted to say that my neighbor is trying to quit smoking again. He did for about three weeks last year and has decided to give it a go again. He made the mistake of using his old patches from last year. It seems old patches can cause a bad skin rash and even blisters. He also felt very anxious and bad in the mornings. He has since decided to chew the gum for the last two weeks. It seems to be doing it for him. He plans on tapering that off soon. I am so happy for him as he has wanted to quit for quite some time now.

Hi again, I just wanted to say that our neighbor is still hanging in there and has not smoked once since he quit. We are so happy for him. He said he is now feeling so much better and has much more energy than he had when he was smoking. He also says the extra money he has each paycheck since he quit has been a great bonus also.

I just stopped smoking December 1st 2012, and I was a 1 1/2 pack a day smoker. Now I feel great. I should have done this along time ago. I have been smoking for over 15+ years, and the best thing I did for myself is stop smoking. The problem now is food taste so much better; it’s like I can taste every ingredient in what ever dish I am eating, so now I eat more. Now I need something to make me stop eating, a good diet pill perhaps.
